John Salley (full name: John Thomas Salley; Spider) played Forward-Center from 1987 until 2000 for the Detroit Pistons, Miami Heat, Toronto Raptors, Chicago Bulls and Los Angeles Lakers. Over 11 seasons, he played 748 games, scored 5228 points (7.0 ppg) and grabbed 3356 rebounds (4.5 rpg). Salley also dished out 916 assists (1.2 apg), made 451 steals (0.6 spg), and blocked 983 shots (1.3 bpg) during his career. Born in Brooklyn, New York on May 16, 1964, Salley stands 6-11 and weighs 230 lbs. He attended high school at Canarsie in Brooklyn, New York and college at Georgia Institute of Technology. He was drafted by the Detroit Pistons in the 1st round (11th pick, 11th overall) of the 1986 NBA draft.
