John Mackey (fullname: John Kevin Mackey; no nicknames) played from 1963 until 1972 for the Baltimore Colts and San Diego Chargers. He played 139 games, starting 14 of those. Born in Queens, NY on September 24, 1941, Mackey stands 6'2 and weighs 224 lbs. He attended college at Syracuse. He was drafted by the New York Jets in the 5th round (35th overall) of the 1963 AFL Draft. Mackey was inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 1992, finalist in 1979, 1989, 1990, 1991.
