John Kruk (full name: John Martin Kruk; no nicknames) played first baseman and leftfielder from 1986 until 1995 for the San Diego Padres, Philadelphia Phillies and Chicago White Sox. He played for the Padres from 1986 - 1989, Phillies from 1989 - 1994 and White Sox in 1995. Over 10 seasons, he played 1200 games, hit 100 home runs, drove in 582 runs, and stole 58 bases. Born on February 9, 1961 in Charleston, WV, Kruk stands 5' 10" and weighs 170 lb. He attended Keyser (Keyser, WV) high school and was drafted by the San Diego Padres in the 3rd round of the 1981 amateur draft (June Secondary). His debut was on April 7, 1986 and he played his final game on July 30, 1995. Over his career, Kruk made $10,950,000.
