John Drew (full name: John Edward Drew; J.E.) played Forward-Guard from 1975 until 1985 for the Atlanta Hawks and Utah Jazz. Over 11 seasons, he played 739 games, scored 15291 points (20.7 ppg) and grabbed 5088 rebounds (6.9 rpg). Drew also dished out 1224 assists (1.7 apg), made 1004 steals (1.4 spg), and blocked 193 shots (0.3 bpg) during his career. Born in Vredenburgh, Alabama on September 30, 1954, Drew stands 6-6 and weighs 205 lbs. He attended high school at J.F. Shields in Beatrice, Alabama and college at Gardner-Webb University. He was drafted by the Atlanta Hawks in the 2nd round (7th pick, 25th overall) of the 1974 NBA draft.
