Joey Galloway is a current American football wide receiver for the Washington Redskins. He has been playing professionally in the National Football League from 1995 right after attending Ohio State University. He was able to receive First-Team All-Big Ten Conference Honors during his third year of playing college football while receiving Second-Team honors during his senior year.
During the 1995 NHL Draft, Galloway was picked by the Seattle Seahawks during the first round. He had stellar rookie year with the Seahawks. Galloway was able to make 67 receptions, returned 36 punts and made a touchdown.
Galloway’s most productive year was in 1997 when he was able to make 72 receptions and 12 touchdowns. As a result of that, he was named into the Pro Bowl as an alternate as well as in 1999. He was traded to the Dallas Cowboys and was paired to Raghib Ismail. After suffering from a knee injury during the first season, Galloway was able to start in a majority of games from 2001 to 2003. In 2003, he was the league frontrunner in catches with an average of 19.8 yards per catch.
In 2004, Galloway was traded to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and was named as an alternate in the Pro Bowl in 2005 and 2007.

He was drafted by the Seattle Seahawks in the 1st round (8th overall) of the 1995 NFL Draft.
