 Joel Piñeiro is a professional baseball player in the Major League Baseball. He hails from Puerto Rico and started his professional career with the Seattle Mariners team. He bats and throws with his right hand and is listed at 6 ft. 1 in. and 200 lbs. His Major League Baseball debut came on August 8, 2000.

 

Before he the 2004 season, he played for two years for the team and was able to record 30 wins and an ERA of 3.52. He appeared in 60 games for the team for the said two seasons. However, his ERA for the later part of the 2004 season went down to 4.67 and he lost eleven games. He also had an injury in the end of the 2004 season and missed out the rest of the season.

 

In 2005, he played in the minors and appeared for the Tacoma, an AAA team. However, sources say he still struggled and was not able to record good ERA which he did in the first few seasons of his career. He went to free agency in the 2006 season and joined the Boston Red Sox in 2007. He was assigned to the minor league teams of the organization. He is currently part of the Los Angeles of Anaheim team.
