Joel Bouchard (full name: Joel Bouchard; no nicknames) played defenseman from 1995 until 2006 for the Calgary Flames, Nashville Predators, Dallas Stars, Phoenix Coyotes, New Jersey Devils, New York Rangers, Pittsburgh Penguins and New York Islanders. He played for the Flames from 1995 - 1998, Predators from 1999 - 2000, Stars in 2000, Coyotes in 2001, Devils in 2002, Rangers from 2003 - 2004, Penguins in 2003 and Islanders in 2006. Over 11 seasons, he played 364 games, scored 22 goals, and made 53 assists. Born in Montreal, Quebec on January 23, 1974, Bouchard stands 6-1 and weighs 209 lbs. He was drafted by the Calgary Flames in the 6th round (129th overall) of the 1992 NHL Entry Draft.
