Joseph Pignatano is a professional baseball player who hails from Brooklyn, New York. He started his professional career in the 1957 season when he joined the Brooklyn Dodgers. His first appearance in the Major League Baseball was on April 28, 1957. He spent his first few seasons in the major league with the Brooklyn Dodgers and left the team in the 1960 season. With the team, he was able to play in the World Series of 1959 and bag his first professional championship in the league.
In 1961, he signed with the Kansas City Athletics and then moved to become a member of the San Francisco Giants in 1962. However, he was not able to appear in the league with the Giants and not long after signed with the New York Mets. His final Major League Baseball appearance was on September 30, 1962 for the Mets.
