Joe McEwing (full name: Joseph Earl McEwing; Super Joe) played outfielder, second baseman and shortstop from 1998 until 2006 for the St. Louis Cardinals, New York Mets, Kansas City Royals and Houston Astros. He played for the Cardinals from 1998 - 1999, Mets from 2000 - 2004, Royals in 2005 and Astros in 2006. Over 9 seasons, he played 754 games, hit 25 home runs, drove in 217 runs, and stole 33 bases. Born on October 19, 1972 in Bristol, PA, McEwing stands 5' 10" and weighs 170 lb. He attended Bishop Egan (Fairless Hills, PA) high school and was drafted by the St. Louis Cardinals in the 28th round of the 1992 amateur draft. His debut was on September 2, 1998 and he played his final game on May 20, 2006. Over his career, McEwing made $2,302,500.
