Joe Kuhel (full name: Joseph Anthony Kuhel; no nicknames) played first baseman from 1931 until 1947 for the Washington Senators and Chicago White Sox. He played for the Senators from 1931 - 1946 and White Sox from 1938 - 1947. Over 18 seasons, he played 2104 games, hit 131 home runs, drove in 1236 runs, and stole 178 bases. Born on June 25, 1906 in Cleveland, OH, Kuhel stood 6' 0" and weighed 180 lb. He attended Brooklyn Heights (Cleveland, OH) (All Transactions) high school.
