Joe Heving (full name: Joseph William Heving; no nicknames) played pitcher from 1933 until 1945 for the Chicago White Sox, Cleveland Indians, Boston Red Sox and Boston Braves. He played for the White Sox from 1933 - 1934, Indians from 1937 - 1944, Red Sox from 1938 - 1940 and Braves in 1945. Over 13 seasons, he started 40 games, won 76 games, struck out 429 batters, and had a 3.90 ERA. Born on September 2, 1900 in Covington, KY (All Transactions), Heving stood 6' 1" and weighed 185 lb.
