Joe Ginsberg (full name: Myron Nathan Ginsberg; no nicknames) played catcher from 1948 until 1962 for the Detroit Tigers, Cleveland Indians, Kansas City Athletics, Baltimore Orioles, Chicago White Sox, Boston Red Sox and New York Mets. He played for the Tigers from 1948 - 1953, Indians from 1953 - 1954, Athletics in 1956, Orioles from 1956 - 1960, White Sox from 1960 - 1961, Red Sox in 1961 and Mets in 1962. Over 13 seasons, he played 695 games, hit 20 home runs, drove in 168 runs, and stole 7 bases. Born on October 11, 1926 in New York, NY, Ginsberg stands 5' 11" and weighs 180 lb.
