Joe Dumars (full name: Joe Dumars III; no nicknames) played Guard from 1986 until 1999 for the Detroit Pistons. Over 14 seasons, he played 1018 games, scored 16401 points (16.1 ppg) and grabbed 2203 rebounds (2.2 rpg). Dumars also dished out 4612 assists (4.5 apg), made 902 steals (0.9 spg), and blocked 83 shots (0.1 bpg) during his career. Born in Shreveport, Louisiana on May 24, 1963, Dumars stands 6-3 and weighs 190 lbs. He attended high school at Natchitoches Central in Natchitoches, Louisiana and college at McNeese State University. He was drafted by the Detroit Pistons in the 1st round (18th pick, 18th overall) of the 1985 NBA draft. He was inducted into Hall of Fame as Player in 2006.
