Joe Dobson (full name: Joseph Gordon Dobson; Burrhead) played pitcher from 1939 until 1954 for the Cleveland Indians, Boston Red Sox and Chicago White Sox. He played for the Indians from 1939 - 1940, Red Sox from 1941 - 1954 and White Sox from 1951 - 1953. Over 14 seasons, he started 273 games, won 137 games, struck out 992 batters, and had a 3.62 ERA.
