He played for the Athletics in 1990 and Rangers from 1990 - 1991. Over 2 seasons, he played games, won 1 games, struck out 24 batters, and had a 4.73 ERA. Born on February 12, 1964 in Glendale, CA, Bitker stands 6' 1" and weighs 175 lb. He attended high school and was drafted by the San Diego Padres in the 2nd round of the 1984 amateur draft (June Secondary). His debut was on July 31, 1990 and he played his final game on June 19, 1991. Common misspellings of his name include Joseph Anthony Joe jose joseph Bitker.
