Jiri Dopita (full name: Jiri Dopita; no nicknames) played center from 2002 until 2003 for the Philadelphia Flyers and Edmonton Oilers. He played for the Flyers in 2002 and Oilers in 2003. Over 2 seasons, he played 73 games, scored 12 goals, and made 21 assists. Born in Sumperk, Czechoslovakia on December 2, 1968, Dopita stands 6-4 and weighs 210 lbs. He was drafted by the New York Islanders in the 5th round (123rd overall) of the 1998 NHL Entry Draft (Re-entry).
