Jimmy Wasdell (full name: James Charles Wasdell; no nicknames) played outfielder and first baseman from 1937 until 1947 for the Washington Senators, Brooklyn Dodgers, Pittsburgh Pirates, Philadelphia Blue Jays, Philadelphia Phillies and Cleveland Indians. He played for the Senators from 1937 - 1940, Dodgers from 1940 - 1941, Pirates from 1942 - 1943, Blue Jays from 1943 - 1945, Phillies in 1946 and Indians from 1946 - 1947. Over 11 seasons, he played 888 games, hit 29 home runs, drove in 339 runs, and stole 29 bases. Born on May 15, 1914 in Cleveland, OH (All Transactions), Wasdell stood 5' 11" and weighed 185 lb.
