Jimmy Outlaw (full name: James Paulus Outlaw; no nicknames) played outfielder and third baseman from 1937 until 1949 for the Cincinnati Reds, Boston Bees and Detroit Tigers. He played for the Reds from 1937 - 1938, Bees in 1939 and Tigers from 1943 - 1949. Over 10 seasons, he played 650 games, hit 6 home runs, drove in 257 runs, and stole 24 bases. Born on January 20, 1913 in Orme, TN, Outlaw stood 5' 8" and weighed 165 lb. He attended high school. His debut was on April 20, 1937 and he played his final game on May 8, 1949.
