Jimmie Schaffer (full name: Jimmie Ronald Schaffer; no nicknames) played catcher from 1961 until 1968 for the St. Louis Cardinals, Chicago Cubs, Chicago White Sox, New York Mets, Philadelphia Phillies and Cincinnati Reds. He played for the Cardinals from 1961 - 1962, Cubs from 1963 - 1964, White Sox in 1965, Mets in 1965, Phillies from 1966 - 1967 and Reds in 1968.
