Jim Winn (full name: James Francis Winn; no nicknames) played pitcher from 1983 until 1988 for the Pittsburgh Pirates, Chicago White Sox and Minnesota Twins. He played for the Pirates from 1983 - 1986, White Sox in 1987 and Twins in 1988. Over 6 seasons, he started 10 games, won 12 games, struck out 159 batters, and had a 4.67 ERA. Born on September 23, 1959 in Stockton, CA, Winn stands 6' 3" and weighs 210 lb. He attended high school and was drafted by the Pittsburgh Pirates in the 1st round (14th pick) of the 1981 amateur draft. His debut was on April 10, 1983 and he played his final game on September 6, 1988. Over his career, Winn made $415,000.
