Jim Turner (full name: James Riley Turner; Milkman Jim) played pitcher from 1937 until 1945 for the Boston Bees, Cincinnati Reds and New York Yankees. He played for the Bees from 1937 - 1939, Reds from 1940 - 1942 and Yankees from 1942 - 1945. Over 9 seasons, he started 119 games, won 69 games, struck out 329 batters, and had a 3.22 ERA. Born on August 6, 1903 in Antioch, TN, Turner stood 6' 0" and weighed 185 lb. He attended Cane Ridge (Nashville, TN) (All Transactions) high school.
