About Jim Todd:

Jim Todd (full name: James Richard Todd; no nicknames) played pitcher from 1974 until 1979 for the Chicago Cubs, Oakland Athletics and Seattle Mariners. He played for the Cubs from 1974 - 1977, Athletics from 1975 - 1979 and Mariners in 1978. Over 6 seasons, he started 8 games, won 25 games, struck out 194 batters, and had a 4.23 ERA. Born on September 21, 1947 in Lancaster, PA, Todd stands 6' 2" and weighs 190 lb. He attended J.P. McCaskey (Lancaster, PA) high school and was drafted by the Chicago Cubs in the 10th round of the 1969 amateur draft. His debut was on April 29, 1974 and he played his final game on September 28, 1979. Over his career, Todd made $22,000. Common misspellings of his name include James James Richard (Jr.) Richard jimmy jimmie Jim james Todd.
