Jim Thomson (full name: Jim Thomson; no nicknames) played right wing from 1987 until 1994 for the Washington Capitals, Hartford Whalers, New Jersey Devils, Los Angeles Kings, Ottawa Senators and Mighty Ducks of Anaheim. He played for the Capitals from 1987 - 1989, Whalers in 1989, Devils in 1990, Kings from 1991 - 1993, Senators in 1993 and Mighty Ducks in 1994.
