Jim McMillian (full name: James M. McMillian; Jim) played Forward from 1971 until 1979 for the Los Angeles Lakers, Buffalo Braves, New York Knickerbockers and Portland Trail Blazers. Over 9 seasons, he played 631 games, scored 8736 points (13.8 ppg) and grabbed 3319 rebounds (5.3 rpg). McMillian also dished out 1557 assists (2.5 apg), made 435 steals (0.7 spg), and blocked 80 shots (0.1 bpg) during his career. Born in Raeford, North Carolina on March 11, 1948, McMillian stands 6-5 and weighs 215 lbs. He attended high school at Thomas Jefferson in Brooklyn, New York and college at Columbia University. He was drafted by the Los Angeles Lakers in the 1st round (13th pick, 13th overall) of the 1970 NBA draft.
