Jim Lemon (full name: James Robert Lemon; no nicknames) played outfielder from 1950 until 1963 for the Cleveland Indians, Washington Senators, Minnesota Twins, Chicago White Sox and Philadelphia Phillies. He played for the Indians from 1950 - 1953, Senators from 1954 - 1960, Twins from 1961 - 1963, White Sox in 1963 and Phillies in 1963. Over 12 seasons, he played 1010 games, hit 164 home runs, drove in 446 runs, and stole 13 bases. Born on March 23, 1928 in Covington, VA, Lemon stood 6' 4" and weighed 200 lb. He attended Covington (Covington, VA) high school. His debut was on August 20, 1950 and he played his final game on September 29, 1963.
