Jim Krebs (full name: James Krebs; Jim, Red) played Center-Forward from 1958 until 1964 for the Minneapolis Lakers and Los Angeles Lakers. Over 7 seasons, he played 515 games, scored 4128 points (8.0 ppg) and grabbed 3177 rebounds (6.2 rpg). Krebs also dished out 429 assists (0.8 apg), made steals (0.0 spg), and blocked shots (0.0 bpg) during his career. Born in Webster Groves, Missouri on September 8, 1935, Krebs stood 6-8 and weighed 230 lbs. He attended high school at Webster Groves in Webster Groves, Missouri and college at Southern Methodist University. He was drafted by the Minneapolis Lakers in the 1st round (3rd pick, 3rd overall) of the 1957 NBA draft.
