Jim Dwyer (full name: James Edward Dwyer; Pig Pen) played outfielder, pinch hitter and first baseman from 1973 until 1990 for the St. Louis Cardinals, Montreal Expos, New York Mets, San Francisco Giants, Boston Red Sox, Baltimore Orioles and Minnesota Twins. He played for the Cardinals from 1973 - 1978, Expos from 1975 - 1989, Mets in 1976, Giants in 1978, Red Sox from 1979 - 1980, Orioles from 1981 - 1988 and Twins from 1988 - 1990. Over 18 seasons, he played 1328 games, hit 77 home runs, drove in 409 runs, and stole 26 bases. Born on June 3, 1950 in Evergreen Park, IL, Dwyer stands 5' 10" and weighs 165 lb. He attended St. Lawrence (Oaklawn, IL) high school and was drafted by the St. Louis Cardinals in the 11th round of the 1971 amateur draft.
