Jim Delsing (full name: James Henry Delsing; no nicknames) played outfielder from 1948 until 1960 for the Chicago White Sox, New York Yankees, St. Louis Browns, Detroit Tigers and Kansas City Athletics. He played for the White Sox from 1948 - 1956, Yankees from 1949 - 1950, Browns from 1950 - 1952, Tigers from 1952 - 1956 and Athletics in 1960. Over 10 seasons, he played 822 games, hit 40 home runs, drove in 322 runs, and stole 15 bases. Born on November 13, 1925 in Rudolph, WI, Delsing stood 5' 10" and weighed 175 lb. He attended Rudolph (Rudoph, WI) (All Transactions) high school. His debut was on April 21, 1948 and he played his final game on September 30, 1960.
