Jim Caldwell (full name: James W. Caldwell Jr.; Jim) played Center from 1968 until 1969 for the New York Knickerbockers, New Jersey Americans and Kentucky Colonels. Over 2 seasons, he played 137 games, scored 968 points (7.1 ppg) and grabbed 1052 rebounds (7.7 rpg). Caldwell also dished out 278 assists (2.0 apg), made steals (0.0 spg), and blocked shots (0.0 bpg) during his career. Born in Durham, North Carolina on January 28, 1943, Caldwell stands 6-10 and weighs 240 lbs. He attended college at Georgia Institute of Technology. He was drafted by the Los Angeles Lakers in the 3rd round (8th pick, 25th overall) of the 1965 NBA draft.
