Jim Bucher (full name: James Quinter Bucher; no nicknames) played third baseman, second baseman and outfielder from 1934 until 1945 for the Brooklyn Dodgers, St. Louis Cardinals and Boston Red Sox. He played for the Dodgers from 1934 - 1937, Cardinals in 1938 and Red Sox from 1944 - 1945. Over 7 seasons, he played 554 games, hit 17 home runs, drove in 242 runs, and stole 19 bases. Born on March 24, 1911 in Manassas, VA (All Transactions), Bucher stood 5' 11" and weighed 170 lb. He attended high school.
