Jesse Jefferson (full name: Jesse Harrison Jefferson; no nicknames) played pitcher from 1973 until 1981 for the Baltimore Orioles, Chicago White Sox, Toronto Blue Jays, Pittsburgh Pirates and California Angels. He played for the Orioles from 1973 - 1975, White Sox from 1975 - 1976, Jays from 1977 - 1980, Pirates in 1980 and Angels in 1981. Over 9 seasons, he started 144 games, won 39 games, struck out 522 batters, and had a 4.81 ERA. Born on March 3, 1949 in Midlothian, VA, Jefferson stands 6' 3" and weighs 188 lb. He attended Carver (Midlothian, VA) high school and was drafted by the Baltimore Orioles in the 4th round of the 1968 amateur draft.
