About Jesse Chavez Memorabilia & CollectiblesBorn on August 21, 1983, Jesse Chavez is one of the budding players in the Major League Baseball positioned as a relief pitcher. He hails from Victorville, California and is currently part of the Kansas City Royals. He started with the group in 2010 alongside other excellent players namely Gregor Blanco, an outfielder from Caracas, Venezuela as well as Tim Collins, a pitcher from Worcester, Massachusetts. They were taken in by the team in exchange for Kyle Farnsworth and Rick Ankiel.
Jesse Chavez finished his academic requirements in Fontana A.B Miller High School and also in the Riverside Community College. During such time, he was already seen performing in several baseball events and engagements. It was in 2002 that he was chosen by the Texas Rangers to be part of the team. He was picked by the said group during an amateur draft held on the same year. After one game with the Triple-A Oklahoma, Jesse Chavez then transferred to the Pittsburgh Pirates, taking the position left by Kip Wells. He was then placed under the Indianapolis Indians playing the rest of the 2007 season.
In 2009, Jesse Chavez got a great deal with the Tampa Ray Bays where he was absorbed in exchange for Akinori Iwamura. Chavez had several stints with several teams in MLB before landing a slot in the City Royals. After his stay with the Bays, he jumped to another group again, taking such position that of Rafael Soriano in the Atlanta Braves.
