Jerry Adair (full name: Kenneth Jerry Adair; Casper the Friendly Ghost) played second baseman, shortstop and third baseman from 1958 until 1970 for the Baltimore Orioles, Chicago White Sox, Boston Red Sox and Kansas City Royals. He played for the Orioles from 1958 - 1966, White Sox from 1966 - 1967, Red Sox from 1967 - 1968 and Royals from 1969 - 1970. Over 13 seasons, he played 1165 games, hit 57 home runs, drove in 378 runs, and stole 29 bases. Born on December 17, 1936 in Sand Springs, OK, Adair stood 6' 0" and weighed 175 lb. He attended Sapulpa (Sapulpa, OK) high school. His debut was on September 2, 1958 and he played his final game on May 3, 1970. Over his career, Adair made $146,750.
