Jerome Kersey (full name: Jerome Kersey; no nicknames) played Forward from 1985 until 2001 for the Portland Trail Blazers, Golden State Warriors, Los Angeles Lakers, Seattle Supersonics, San Antonio Spurs and Milwaukee Bucks. Over 17 seasons, he played 1153 games, scored 11825 points (10.3 ppg) and grabbed 6339 rebounds (5.5 rpg). Kersey also dished out 2134 assists (1.9 apg), made 1439 steals (1.2 spg), and blocked 799 shots (0.7 bpg) during his career. Born in Clarksville, Virginia on June 26, 1962, Kersey stands 6-7 and weighs 215 lbs. He attended high school at Bluestone Senior in Skipworth, Virginia and college at Longwood University. He was drafted by the Portland Trail Blazers in the 2nd round (22nd pick, 46th overall) of the 1984 NBA draft.
