Jerome James (full name: Jerome Keith James; no nicknames) played Center from 1999 until 2009 for the Sacramento Kings, Seattle Supersonics and New York Knickerbockers. Over 9 seasons, he played 357 games, scored 1540 points (4.3 ppg) and grabbed 1099 rebounds (3.1 rpg). James also dished out 118 assists (0.3 apg), made 92 steals (0.3 spg), and blocked 384 shots (1.1 bpg) during his career. Born in Tampa, Florida on November 17, 1975, James stands 7-0 and weighs 300 lbs. He attended high school at Pentacostal Christian Academy in Tampa, Florida and college at Florida Agricultural and Mechanical University. He was drafted by the Sacramento Kings in the 2nd round (7th pick, 36th overall) of the 1998 NBA draft.
