About Jennie Finch Autographed Memorabilia & Collectibles
If Natalie Gulbis awed the golfers with her exceptional talent in the golf sport, Jennie Lynn Finch Daigle or Jennie Finch shows that even women can be good in softball. Born in La Mirada, California on September 3, 1980, Finch is the current pitcher of the national softball team of USA but also plays first base. Widely accepted as the most popular player in the history of softball, Finch’s team was able to bring home a gold medal from the 2004 Summer Olympics and a silver one during the 2008 Summer Olympics.
Ever since she was just five years old, Finch was already playing football and was pitching at the age of eight. Finch was able to letter for four times in softball in La Mirada and twice both for volleyball and basketball. When she was in her senior year, Finch was the captain for the three mentioned sports. Finch was also an All-CIF Div. II choice for softball during her sophomore year and also a choice for All-Suburban League. Her pitching coach for the majority of her career was Doug Finch, her father. However, it was Ali Fronzen who became her very first pitching coach and taught her eight different pitches.
Good thing is that same with Jack Nicklaus and former football player and now coach Urban Meyer, Finch also offers her fans autographed items and collectibles that will surely look good with the rest of your collection.
There are still instances when her name is incorrectly spelled as Jenny Finch, Jenie Finch, Jeny Finch, Jenni Finch, Jenne Finch, Jennie Finche and Jennie Finsh.
