Jeff Stone (full name: Jeffrey Glen Stone; no nicknames) played leftfielder and pinch hitter from 1983 until 1990 for the Philadelphia Phillies, Baltimore Orioles, Texas Rangers and Boston Red Sox. He played for the Phillies from 1983 - 1987, Orioles in 1988, Rangers in 1989 and Red Sox from 1989 - 1990. Over 8 seasons, he played 372 games, hit 11 home runs, drove in 129 runs, and stole 75 bases. Born on December 26, 1960 in Kennett, MO, Stone stands 6' 0" and weighs 175 lb. He attended North Pemiscot (Wardell, MO) high school. His debut was on September 9, 1983 and he played his final game on October 2, 1990. Over his career, Stone made $400,000. Common misspellings of his name include Jeffrey Glen Jeff Stone.
