Jeff Shantz (full name: Jeff Shantz; no nicknames) played center from 1994 until 2003 for the Chicago Blackhawks, Calgary Flames and Colorado Avalanche. He played for the Blackhawks from 1994 - 1999, Flames from 1999 - 2002 and Avalanche in 2003. Over 10 seasons, he played 642 games, scored 72 goals, and made 139 assists. Born in Duchess, Alberta on October 10, 1973, Shantz stands 6-0 and weighs 195 lbs. He was drafted by the Chicago Blackhawks in the 2nd round (36th overall) of the 1992 NHL Entry Draft.
