Jeff Norton (full name: Jeff Norton; no nicknames) played defenseman from 1988 until 2002 for the New York Islanders, San Jose Sharks, St. Louis Blues, Edmonton Oilers, Tampa Bay Lightning, Florida Panthers, Pittsburgh Penguins and Boston Bruins. He played for the Islanders from 1988 - 1993, Sharks from 1994 - 2001, Blues from 1995 - 1996, Oilers from 1996 - 1997, Lightning from 1997 - 1998, Panthers from 1998 - 2002, Penguins in 2001 and Bruins in 2002. Over 15 seasons, he played 799 games, scored 52 goals, and made 332 assists. Born in Acton, Massachusetts on November 25, 1965, Norton stands 6-2 and weighs 195 lbs. He was drafted by the New York Islanders in the 3rd round (62nd overall) of the 1984 NHL Entry Draft.
