Jeff Kent (full name: Jeffrey Franklin Kent; no nicknames) played second baseman, third baseman and first baseman from 1992 until 2008 for the New York Mets, Toronto Blue Jays, Cleveland Indians, San Francisco Giants, Houston Astros and Los Angeles Dodgers. He played for the Mets from 1992 - 1996, Jays in 1992, Indians in 1996, Giants from 1997 - 2002, Astros from 2003 - 2004 and Dodgers from 2005 - 2008. Over 17 seasons, he played 2298 games, hit 377 home runs, drove in 1320 runs, and stole 94 bases. Born on March 7, 1968 in Bellflower, CA, Kent stands 6' 1" and weighs 185 lb. He attended Edison (Huntington Beach, CA) high school and was drafted by the Toronto Blue Jays in the 20th round of the 1989 amateur draft.
