Jeff Heath (full name: John Geoffrey Heath; no nicknames) played leftfielder from 1936 until 1949 for the Cleveland Indians, Washington Senators, St. Louis Browns and Boston Braves. He played for the Indians from 1936 - 1945, Senators in 1946, Browns from 1946 - 1947 and Braves from 1948 - 1949. Over 14 seasons, he played 1383 games, hit 194 home runs, drove in 777 runs, and stole 56 bases. Born on April 1, 1915 in Fort William, Ontario, CAN, Heath stood 5' 11" and weighed 200 lb. He attended Garfield (Seattle, WA) (All Transactions) high school. His debut was on September 13, 1936 and he played his final game on September 8, 1949.
