Jeff Daniels (full name: Jeff Daniels; no nicknames) played left wing from 1991 until 2003 for the Pittsburgh Penguins, Florida Panthers, Hartford Whalers, Carolina Hurricanes and Nashville Predators. He played for the Penguins from 1991 - 1994, Panthers from 1994 - 1995, Whalers in 1997, Hurricanes from 1998 - 2003 and Predators in 1999. Over 12 seasons, he played 425 games, scored 17 goals, and made 26 assists. Born in Oshawa, Ontario on June 24, 1968, Daniels stands 6-1 and weighs 200 lbs. He was drafted by the Pittsburgh Penguins in the 6th round (109th overall) of the 1986 NHL Entry Draft. Daniels officially announced retirement on November 17, 2003.
