Jason York (full name: Jason York; no nicknames) played defenseman from 1993 until 2007 for the Detroit Red Wings, Mighty Ducks of Anaheim, Ottawa Senators, Nashville Predators and Boston Bruins. He played for the Red Wings from 1993 - 1995, Mighty Ducks from 1995 - 2002, Senators from 1997 - 2001, Predators from 2003 - 2004 and Bruins in 2007. Over 13 seasons, he played 757 games, scored 42 goals, and made 187 assists. Born in Nepean, Ontario on May 20, 1970, York stands 6-1 and weighs 208 lbs. He was drafted by the Detroit Red Wings in the 7th round (129th overall) of the 1990 NHL Entry Draft.
