Born in Mobile, Alabama on June 12, 1973, Caffey stands 6-8 and weighs 255 lbs. He attended high school at Davidson in Mobile, Alabama and college at University of Alabama. He was drafted by the Chicago Bulls in the 1st round (20th pick, 20th overall) of the 1995 NBA draft.
