Jason Thomas Babin hails from Kalamazoo, Michigan and was born on May 24, 1980. He attended Western Michigan for college and debuted for the Houston Texas in 2004. During his National Football League career, he already had gone through five teams. Among these are the Seattle Seahawks,
Kansas City Chiefs and the Tennessee Titans wherein he is currently involved in.
Even in his high school years, Babin had already seen incredible talent in football. He was with the Paw Paw High School when he started showing off his skills both in football and wrestling. He was established as a Defensive Most Valuable Player twice and a senior first-team choice in the All-Kalamazoo Valley Association. He got his scholarship in Western Michigan University by playing in the last 3 games of the season at some point in his senior year.
Babin was picked during the first round of the 2004 Draft in the National Football League by Houston Texas. Among the team’s outstanding players are Chris Myers, Xavier Adibi and Mark Anderson. Three years after, Jason Babin got claimed by the
Seatle Seahawks, traded for
Michael Boulware. He was freed by the said team though in exchange for Keary Colbert of the Denver Broncos, a player in the offensive position a year after.
Currently, Babin is affiliated with the
Tennessee Titans. He had a record 58 tackles, forced fumbles of 2 and 12.5 sacks. Later on, he was declared as part of the Pro Bowl in 2010.
