Jaroslav Svoboda (full name: Jaroslav Svoboda; no nicknames) played left wing from 2002 until 2006 for the Carolina Hurricanes and Dallas Stars. He played for the Hurricanes from 2002 - 2004 and Stars in 2006. Over 4 seasons, he played 134 games, scored 12 goals, and made 17 assists. Born in Cervenka, Czechoslovakia on June 1, 1980, Svoboda stands 6-2 and weighs 190 lbs. He was drafted by the Carolina Hurricanes in the 8th round (208th overall) of the 1998 NHL Entry Draft.
