Jari Kurri (full name: Jari Kurri; no nicknames) played right wing from 1981 until 1998 for the Edmonton Oilers, Los Angeles Kings, New York Rangers, Mighty Ducks of Anaheim and Colorado Avalanche. He played for the Oilers from 1981 - 1990, Kings from 1992 - 1996, Rangers in 1996, Mighty Ducks in 1997 and Avalanche in 1998. Over 17 seasons, he played 1251 games, scored 601 goals, and made 797 assists. Born in Helsinki, Finland on May 18, 1960, Kurri stands 6-0 and weighs 194 lbs. He was drafted by the Edmonton Oilers in the 4th round (69th overall) of the 1980 NHL Entry Draft. He was inducted into Hockey Hall of Fame as Player in 2001.
