About Jaret Wright Memorabilia & Collectibles

Jaret Wright

Starting pitcher in Major League Baseball, Jaret Wright is currently playing for the Baltimore Orioles. His father is the former major league pitcher Clyde Wright. He was born on December 29, 1975 in Anaheim, California.

He throws a powerful two-seam fastball which reaches up to 98MPH. Wright also plays a good and impressive hard curveball and changeup. He had his major league debut in 1997 where he played with the Cleveland Indians. In the said game, Wright was able to accomplish an 8-3 record with a not so bad 4.38 ERA all in 16 starts. He also pitched well during the post in the same where he was 21 years of age. He had left the game 7 of the 1997 World Series after making 6 1/3 innings with a blazing 2-1 lead. Due to a chronic shoulder injury, Wright did not get a chance to0 show his potential with the team. It was in 1999 when he recorded 8-10 with 6.06 ERA all in 26 starts.

In 2002, he then went for a 2-3 record with 15.71 ERA. He then became a free agent after that season. In 2003, Wright decided to sign with the San Diego Padres. He unfortunately did not show an excellent performance with the team. He was able to accomplish a 1-5 record with 8.73 ERA in 39 games. It was in August when he was then traded to the Atlanta Braves.
