Jan Hrdina (full name: Jan Hrdina; no nicknames) played center from 1999 until 2006 for the Pittsburgh Penguins, Phoenix Coyotes, New Jersey Devils and Columbus Blue Jackets. He played for the Penguins from 1999 - 2003, Coyotes from 2003 - 2004, Devils in 2004 and Blue Jackets in 2006. Over 7 seasons, he played 513 games, scored 101 goals, and made 196 assists. Born in Hradec Kralove, Czechoslovakia on February 5, 1976, Hrdina stands 6-0 and weighs 205 lbs. He was drafted by the Pittsburgh Penguins in the 5th round (128th overall) of the 1995 NHL Entry Draft.
