James Donaldson (full name: James Lee Donaldson III; J.D.) played Center from 1981 until 1995 for the Seattle Supersonics, San Diego Clippers, Los Angeles Clippers, Dallas Mavericks, New York Knickerbockers and Utah Jazz. Over 14 seasons, he played 957 games, scored 8203 points (8.6 ppg) and grabbed 7492 rebounds (7.8 rpg). Donaldson also dished out 765 assists (0.8 apg), made 336 steals (0.4 spg), and blocked 1267 shots (1.3 bpg) during his career. Born in Heacham, United Kingdom on August 16, 1957, Donaldson stands 7-2 and weighs 275 lbs. He attended high school at Luther Burbank in Sacramento, California and college at Washington State University. He was drafted by the Seattle Supersonics in the 4th round (7th pick, 73rd overall) of the 1979 NBA draft.
